Hospitality is lived in our hotel in the Ahrntal valley - and has been for 3 generations now. In the early 1960s, when the area was still relatively unknown by tourists, Franz Stolzlechner and his wife Cäcilia opened a small guesthouse. Even then, the guests appreciated the beauty of the valley and the authentic hospitality of the "Teldra", as we locals call ourselves. Over time, tourism has developed into one of the cornerstones of the local economy and culture, and the former "Ferienheim Stolzlechner" became the "Alpine Life Hotel Anabel", which is still lovingly- and family-run today, so that you can feel welcome from the very first moment.
"Alpine Life" stands, as the name suggests, for the alpine life in the mountains, which here in Ahrntal is lived like in hardly any other place. During your stay we would like to bring you closer to this life full of alpine culture, old customs and in harmony with nature. Without sacrificing the most modern comfort of course.
With this philosophy, we warmly welcome you!
We are happy to tell you who we are:
Multitalented, warm-hearted, and always friendly – that’s Rosalinde. ‘I love fulfilling guests’ wishes, and making their holiday in our beautiful homeland an unforgettable experience.’ She always has an open ear for your concerns to help wherever possible.
Relaxed, easy-going, a typical ‘Töldra’– that’s Erich. ‘Telling stories, chatting, and giving our guests an understanding of the wonderful Valle Aurina/Ahrntal with hiking, excursion, and insider tips. I always have the right words.’ However, Erich doesn’t only support you at the reception of our 3-star hotel near the Dolomites, he is also our cook.
Dynamic, motivated, curious – that’s Lukas, the son of the house. ‘Many of our guests have known me since I was small. Even after all those years in the hotel industry, I can’t imagine anything better than exchanging ideas and taking care of their wellbeing.’ Lukas doesn’t just look after the guests, but also our in-house marketing.
The Stolzlechner family also includes Vanessa, the daughter of the house, although she doesn’t work in the business.
But we are not the only hosts on your holiday in South Tyrol, because what would a family of hoteliers be without a professional, well-coordinated team?
In order to make your vacation something very special, it takes a lot of hard-working hands that take care of your well-being with joy and commitment in the foreground and background. Always trying to read your every wish from your lips and always with a friendly smile. One thing is particularly important to us: they all live the typical South Tyrolean hospitality and welcome you to your holiday - the best time of the year!
Creating happiness is the greatest happiness
